A low background level of Luteinizing Hormone (LH) is always present in a woman’s urine. At about the middle of her monthly cycle, the LH increases suddenly to a high surged level (LH surge) which causes the release of an egg from ovary about 2-3 days later (ovulation).
Statistics indicate that the highest likelihood of conception occurs within the first 36 hours following the onset of the LH surge.
